GOLDEN STATE - The Golden State in Disney’s California Adventure
Park brings to life the diversity of the land, the people and the history
of the great state of California. From the gold rush of the mid 1800s to
today’s technological gold rush of the Silicon Valley, California is the
state of opportunity. Is it the climate, the scenic wonders, the bountiful
land or the free-spirited attitude that draws people from all over the
world? In fact, it’s all of these things and more, all celebrated in grand
style in the Golden State.
PARADISE PIER - Inside Disney’s California Adventure, the all-new
theme park at The Disneyland Resort, it’s endless summer all year ‘round
at the land known as Paradise Pier. Reminiscent of “thrills and chills”
seaside recreation parks of years gone by, Paradise Pier incorporates
nostalgia with state-of-the-art technology in an atmosphere that
invigorates the senses with sights, sounds and high energy excitement at
every turn. In a colorful atmosphere set around a lush oceanfront lagoon,
Paradise Pier offers guests the ultimate sun ‘n fun California experience
with rides, midway games, boardwalk entertainment, and beach-themed food
emporiums for snacks or sit-down dining. It’s an all-encompassing, all
exciting and all California experience.
HOLLYWOOD PICTURES BACKLOT - Stretching two blocks, the Disney’s
California Adventure Park version of Hollywood Boulevard features building
facades that actually mirror classic structures in the real Hollywood,
such as the famous Max Factor building, with attention to detail provided
by a Hollywood set designer. The architecture not only represents the
glory days of the world famous city but also incorporates its history into
the fabric of the design. Strolling along the famous street, guests will
encounter shops, restaurants and attractions that are all uniquely
Hollywood-oriented.
A BUGS LAND - In “a bug’s land” and “Flik’s Fun Fair,” inspired by
the Walt Disney Pictures presentation of a Pixar Animation Studios’ film A
Bug’s Life, kids can experience a fun-filled world from a bug’s point of
view. The “Flik’s Fun Fair” environment features attractions designed
especially for young children and their families.Quick Links:

vehicle and are lifted up and around the giant wheel. Some are
